The Hibiscus Conserve ($12) is produced from Hibiscus Sabdariffa (Roselle) Calyces that we cultivate on our farm. The conserve has a hibiscus jam medium, which is generously peppered with real calyx bits.
This healthy and delicious conserve has versatile usage. It has a sweet and tangy berry-like taste which accentuates both sweet and savoury flavours alike.
Two ingredients are used to make our conserve. The main ingredient, roselle calyx, is organically cultivated without the use of pesticides or herbicides. The other ingredient is Low GI sugar, making our product suitable for diabetics in moderate amounts.
Directions: Apply directly on canapé, plain crackers or as a complement with steak. It can also be used as a topping for desserts and yogurt. Top off your Hibiscus drink (made with our hibiscus syrup) to enhance the flavour and texture of the drink.
Store in the refrigerator after opening.
